Difference between Analog and IP cameras?

HD Analog System:

The HD Analog system can be categorized into 3 technologies: 1) ADH, 2) HD-CVI and 3) HD-TVI. The cameras are connected to the recorder using coaxial cables, such as RG6 and RG59. These cables differ in their transmission distance. For instance, maximum transmission distance for RG6 and RG59 are 700 and 200 meters, respectively.

Benefits of HD Analog
– Lower cost
– Extensive network knowledge is not required
– Can replace existing analog system without installing new cables

IP System:

IP systems are swiftly connected to the user’s existing internet network using UTP or LAN cables.

Benefits of IP:
– Can connect to Wi-Fi
– Can replace an existing IP system by using the old LAN cables
– POE function may assist in reducing installation costs
